We had a great time in Chattanooga at the 4 Bridges show where we were lucky enough to Sell Out and Win First Place in 3D! The only down-side was: we were so busy that we didn’t have enough time to properly go round and take pictures of some of the gorgeous Art & Artists. Next time!

FaerieCon, Baltimore

the Green Men kicked off Fee Festivites on Friday in Baltimore and following them was a Fine Fleet of Fancies,… Antler Crowns! Blooming Bone Garlands! Elf Ears Galore! Embellishments & Sparklies ad infinitum! Pointy Slippers and Secret Satchels! Layers of hand sewn garments! And Wings! Wings! Wings!,…

But most otherworldly of all were the carpets that stitched themselves into bizarre Scenarios that were Riddles unable to be Cracked! Martin tried for 3 days!—

2 of our creatures went home with Grint’s Graven Images who did a fine job of putting us in a rather more fairy tale world, doncha think?

Pumpkin Fest!

Hallowe’en at the Pumpkin Fest started grey & foreboding but ended wonderfully sunny as we danced as Scarecrows between the leaves of the Ginko,…

Everyone was out in full Hallowe’en Regalia,…even the Dogs!

Our Spiders & Maggots were quick to find a shoulder or hat to nest in,…

Many Filigreetures decided to abandon us for other pastures to haunt,..And speaking of Haunt we were most satisfied with Alice Elliot’s new recipe book ‘Trick or Treat, Terrible Treats to Tempt’ that was featured in the Autumn Edition of the Filigree. We were spared the Soap & Powder when the Hungry Haunters from the Other Side came  a ‘poundin’!

Artclectic!

The Filigree had the pleasure of attending Artclectic and it was a fabulous show! A great selection of Art and very well organized.

The Filigree won 1st place in 3D! Vic Sommers was especially proud and carefully guarded the award for the full 4 days.

It was lot of fun introducing Witch Finger Lollies to the children on Education Day. Though they admitted they looked appetizing, they politely declined them as a treat when offered.

They were, however….

.

….. captivated by the Red Apples which they were astonished were Real!

TACA

The Filigree took part in TACA’s Fall show at our Fair Centennial Park…

There, we said Farewell to many Filigreetures as well as  Pansy & Poppy Butterfield,

who we had the pleasure of reporting on for the feature cover story of the Summer ‘o9 Edition of the Filigree. Luckily, they didn’t get separated!

In other news, Mordacais Jones is safely in custody. She was recently seized together with 2 darling Imaginary Friends that were instantly adopted,..
